I reply after reading the PDF but not other commenters.......and a
beer in hand.....
- nice to see snl betty white nom.
- nice to see Glee pilot nom in many places. I seriously thought the
show would flop (ala Cop Rock) but we tivo'd and marathoned it. yep -
addicted. Madonna ep with Vogue video killed - seriously watch it if
you knew it from late 1980's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH8JyPY85UU
- no ferg? I don't watch Maher.
- outstanding comedy - amy poehler parks and rec? wtf?
- outstanding drama actress - the good wife - ok i watch that.
- modern family - all noms are great. that show is just great.
- outstanding reality host - I hope Seacrest wins. This opinion is
after hearing the NPR Podcast of The Business where the director
explains why Seacrest is just good at it.
- outstanding children's program - I would vote for Hanna, or Wizards,
or icarly. Only because I've watched the tivo'd stuff from the kitchen
as the kids watch it. Ironic that the PDF goes from Wizards to a
Linda Ellerbee special on kids with cancer - steep downer slope.
- outstanding reality - hope for dirty jobs or seacrest;s oliver show,
or mythbusters.
- wtf is this cateogory ? "Exceptional Merit In Nonfiction Film-making"
- and this one? "Outstanding Cinematography For A Half-Hour Series" vs.
a full hour series? If I relate this to engineering consulting of a
mechanical engineer, this would be "Oustanding Pumping design for a
fluid system of 20 USGPM or less".
- FlashForward - nice to see noms for a Toronto-shot show. Now I just
gotta watch one ep :-)
This message brought to you by the letters W, T, and F.
now i gotta watch 15-20 eps backlogged on tivo of HIMYM. maybe some
other series too.

A PDF of the entire list, from Outstanding Voice-Over Performances (in

Anthony Bourdain the name that shoots out):

The series count isn't included, but in looking through the 39 pages
Coco shows up in the Variety/Comedy categories a lot and Leno--doesn't
show up at all. This has to be the first year since he took over
"Tonight" that his show(s) aren't nominated at all.
