I agree with PGage on the issue of more transparency being needed in the world of TV production. In much the same way NBC claimed Conan's show lost money by lumping in the construction of a brand new studio, the relocation of key staff members from NY to LA, and so on, any major studio can essentially pull numbers out of thin air when attempting to demonstrate a loss in revenue.
