Sorry, but I suspect that what the writer meant is that they are not going to televise on the main show the writers' category (and the traditional gag reels from the various shows allegedly depicting the writers). "Comedy/Variety Series" is still too big a category not to take out of the main show, even if it is a set-up for Conan attacking NBC on NBC. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
