Apologies for the off-topic post, but we have Web-savvy people in this forum, plus people video knowledgeable. I'm starting my own blog and a small put potentially critical part will be a demonstration video. The simple route t go is to use YouTube. In looking at the Vimeo videos, though, the quality seems to be so much better. I'm not clear, though, on how much of that is superior technology or how much is because YouTube is a domain for people who think videotaping themselves lighting farts is art, as one person noted. Supposedly you get better quality videos if you go the pay route with VimeoPlus, so simply uploading the same video and comparing them isn't the most valid of tests. Additionally, if you go the VimeoPlus route, you can modify the player. I'm not clear what that means for embedding videos in my Website, though. Vimeo documentation is poor. If the quality on VimeoPlus is substantially better, I don't mind paying $60 a year. IF it's not, I can think of better places to spend that money.
