It was a mix. It looked like the Bandit's Firebird was one of the cars from the movie, and I believe one of the two KITT cars came from a Universal lot auction. Herbie didn't have any paperwork attached to indicate its authenticity, which suggests to me it is a copy. Funny... right now the car show is winding down, and many of the classic cars are using my street to make their exit.
