I think she wants to be able to give bad advice and berate her callers
without any government agency stepping in to remind her she isn't a
doctor of psychology, and that whatever she thinks she might be doing
on the radio, her words have more to do with what is going on inside
of her than what any particular caller has said. I don't believe she
feels bad about what she said. I believe that she wants to exist in a
world that would regard her rants and tirades as "therapy." I believe
she knows the backlash of what she said this time would prove too much
of an professional obstacle, so she is trying to frame the situation
as a freedom of speech issue. I would draw the correlation between
this and another situation being incorrectly framed as a freedom of
religion issue, but I have learned I fall under the third of the
population whose opinion on that issue isn't represented in the media,
so never mind.

She is a knee jerk reactionary who spends three seconds deciding
whether a given caller is an idiot and the rest of the time not
thinking at all. I won't miss her pseudo psychology on the radio
waves.
