Hell yes I would! I would just for the feature of having *two* weeks of TV
listings instead of one.

Cox -- my cable provider -- and TiVo announced that, in essence, Cox will
offer support for TiVos bought from 3rd parties and used on their system in
conjunction with the CableCard. and open access to its Video on Demand
system. Some day in the future, I will probably upgrade to High Def. (I
already have a capable TV.) I've just lagged because -- and this is shocking
behavior given the cable industry's sterling reputation -- the company
double and triple dipping with regard to High Def service.  Up until
recently, HD service itself cost more than standard (separate package), then
the box rental cost more still.
