For those who care and for those who don't, I just received the formal
job offer from the folks in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. It was sent after
1am Kazakh time (so hopefully they were sober and will remember making
the offer in the morning). I am -- or soon will be -- a member of the
working class. My thanks to everyone for their support and prayers.
This was the longest summer of my life. If you or someone you know is
going through similar circumstances, my heart goes out to you.

To the best of my knowledge, Hulu only works in the US, and I'm not
sure which version of the iTunes Store I'll be able to connect to in
Central Asia, so I do not know to what extent I'll be able to keep
commenting on the current state of television in this message board.
But allow me to state publicly that it has been great to get to know
the people on this board and I will continue to be as active in it as
I can be.

Now to begin the paperwork process. Until yesterday, I'd never even
heard of an apostille.
