An Oprah rerun comes on after Kimmel every night (don't know if that's local or network). One night a few years ago I was watching Kimmel through the end credits and caught a promo for Jon Stewart's appearance on the upcoming Oprah. So this week is not the first time he's been on her show. I watched the Stewart appearance that night and he was terribly earnest and spent most of the time talking about his wife and kids.
