That, and I think it is a more general attempt by Warner Bros to get back on
the ball with DC Comics, and putting them back in the public conscious.
Marvel already had been ambitious with this and that was *before* Disney
bought the company. Disney -- which has made movie franchises out of theme
park rides -- surely wouldn't let Marvel's properties go untapped. I don't
think its coincidence that these DC projects have been announced after the
restructuring of DC ( http://ta.gd/DCEnt ) and in the wake of the new
announcement of the move of much of the company to LA near to the WB
(everything save for the comics division http://ta.gd/DCtoBurbank ).
