Probably the biggest wow moment from this was the fact it was broken
by Trib media writer Phil Rosenthal. The Tribune has remained silent
while all this has been going on. That he was effectively given
permission from Editor Gerould Kern to write about an interoffice
memo, especially after the hullabaloo from the previous week, speaks
volumes of the apparent realization that someone has to "protect the
brand" as it were.
