There's clearly a missing element in this story. Even a Tyra producer wouldn't be stupid enough to put a minor on TV, let alone transport them a thousand miles, without parental consent. Did the girl forge her mother's signature on the consent form to cash in for a quick buck (see South Park s06e01, "Freak Strike")? is there a father/legal guardian in play who doesn't get along with the mother?
