There's essentially no other information about the HD switch in the release, but there is this about the show's performance: "This Fall's installment of THE AMAZING RACE is posting across the board increases versus last Fall's edition, averaging 11.69 million viewers (+4%), 4.7 in adults 25-54 (+7%) and 3.8 in adults 18-49 (+9%)."
