The Brits call it the "Million Pound Drop."

Essentially you get a multiple choice question and then bet your million on which answer(s) you think is correct. You're always required to bet ALL of the money on every question. How you want to split it among the choices is up to you.

The "drop" aspect comes from trap doors the contestants place stacks of cash on. When the answer is revealed, the "wrong" doors open and the money on those answers disappears.
