I know this is controversial opinion, but I strongly believe Miller to be the best play by play man in baseball. Over the last 8 years I have travelled to about half of the ball parks in the major leagues, and listened to their local announcers. There are some good ones (and a lot of really bad ones). None as good as Jon (and yes, that includes the Dodger play by play man). I enjoy Joe Morgan too, but I am more inclined to recognize that as an acquired taste. I actually like Orel Hershiser's work (and that is a lot for this old Dodger-hater to admit). I really hope they do not add Bobby Valentine.
