I like this series (my favorite episode would have to be the one set in Vegas featuring Ricky jay), but would have liked it to be less procedural and more dramatic/narrative in nature. Strong characters, but they never really develop over time. But it was more compelling and slightly less formulaic than any of the Law & Order shows.
