Except it's not a remake, it's a sequel. I never saw the original Tron and I
didn't think I was wasting my time with the movie. It's not a bad movie. The
twists are predictable, the ending is not unexpected, but I was engaged
enough at the movie to not be looking at the time or wondering when the next
shoe was going to drop. And the movie is remarkably accessible to someone
who has zero familiarity with the original, which is more than you can say
about most sequels.
