CBS.com suggests that they've bumped "Live to Dance" back by an hour (relative to what Tribune is putting out on zap2it.com) to 9:00, replacing a "Criminal Minds" rerun, with reruns of "Big Bang Theory" and "Rules of Engagement" taking the 8:00 hour. I assume that this means that they'll join the sitcoms in progress after the end of the ceremony. Similarly, NBC has a "Minute to Win It" rerun at 8 that I assume will be JIP. No idea what ABC is doing. I can remember at least one time in the past when they've delayed prime time for short (< 30 minute) special reports, but tonight is all-new programming leading up to the much-hyped debut of Shonda Rhimes' new show at 10:00 so I question whether they want to push it back to ~10:15, especially if NBC and CBS are running on-the-hour schedules. Fox is supposed to have back-to-back new episodes of Human Target. I think they usually just let the programs run late and then let the affiliates decide whether to cut the news short or join some later program in progress.
