Back in 1988, Fox's attempt to revive "Charlie's Angels" never made it
to series, although the show was cast (with Tea Leoni as one of the
angels, IIRC)--now ABC's going to try again with "Smallville"
showrunners Miles Millar and Al Gough in charge and Aaron Spelling's
former partner Leonard Goldberg and Drew Barrymoore's production
company also involved--could we see it this fall?:

There was also a Spanish-language revival on Telemundo about 10 years
ago during the time Sony owned a piece of the net and wanted to draw
younger demos by not doing novelas--it bombed.
