TNT's long-running procedural was going to unwrap Brenda Leigh's last Hostess cupcake this time next year, but the We Know Drama channel has picked up another six episodes to end the series in the summer of 2012 and prepare for a spinoff (as far as I know, TNT's first spinoff--I started to say "cable drama" but forgot "Capricia" and "BSG" and all those "Stargate" spinoffs) called "Major Crimes," about dealmaking for criminals who aren't sentenced to death--no indication who from the present cast is involved, except, of course that Kyra Sedgwick won't be involved:
