Six weeks ago I had never seen a single episode of Scrubs. My daughters always told me I would like it, and I suspected eventually I would check it out. Thanks to the magic of Netflix, I have gotten addicted to it, and am now closing in on the end of season 7. It is not a perfect show, but is is wonderful and delightful in many ways, and I have really enjoyed it (maybe partly because some of my students think I am a little like the John McGinley character, a reference I never understood until now). I did not realize the same guy doing Cougar Town (which, for some reason, I have been watching) is behind Scrubs until I saw Christa Miller in Scrubs and did a little google research and found the connection. I notice that when they made the move to ABC they had Courtney Cox on for a short arc, and made several references to cougars.
Anyway, I love Ted's Band (I particularly love their rendition of Mighty Mouse. Damn those people at itunes for not letting me buy just that song from their albulm. I will probably ask my daughter to send it to me and not ask where she got it). I should check their schedule and see if they are going any gigs in the Bay Area.
