The "Son of Groucho" went on to a long career as a comedy writer, briefly in films (one of the "Blondie" movies, several Pete Smith specialties) and with Robert Fisher in many TV shows (notably "Alice"), and also did a Dean Martin bio along the way (adapted into a made-for about his years with Jerry Lewis).
