The Hollywood Reporter says that Chuck Lorre intends to replace Charlie Sheen and bolster Jon "Duckie" Cryer's role and keep TV's top- rated sitcom (and syndication's top-rated show of any kind, the first show to knock "Wheel of Fortune" off the top since Nielsen started doing weekly national ratings of syndicated shows) on the air for a ninth season:
