It looked to me, flipping channels, as if all four networks broke in around 10:45 ET.
One thing I noticed was that NBC was the only special report to air in full HD in my market. ABC's had the look of video that had been upconverted on high-end equipment and sent out over a HD feed (including branded pillar bars), but CBS and Fox both aired straight SD that looked particularly lousy even relative to what I normally see when watching SD video on a HD screen. Does anyone know how whether this was the network not producing/transmitting in HD or was it my local stations not upgrading whatever equipment is necessary to override their normal programming during breaking news?
