Can't both shows at the same venue be accommodated? The Oliviers in the UK just borrow a working theatre for the night. Granted Sunday is less of a big night here, but accommodations are made.
The BAFTAs have been held on the Royal Opera House of late. Even if there's a production mid-run, they manage. Scenery can be shifted. Just give Cirque a promo during the show...
