Nothing about this article makes Roseanne look good. At best, it is a sob story. At worst, it is a way to ex post facto explain/justify her behavior back in the day. Sorry, I am not buying sexism as the reason she had to fight for control of her show. I'd more likely chalk it up to Roseanne being untested as a TV star or sitcom writer. As she stated, the same treatment was given to Tim Allen... last time I checked he was a man, primal grunts and all.
