The ex-champion fighter won't star, but he did come up with the idea for what's for now being called "Da Brick," described as "The Wire" crossed with "Entourage," about young boxers in Newark, NJ, not unlike him. Doug Ellin and Jim Lefkowitz are executives, as is Spike Lee who will direct a pilot. John Ridley (I'm guessing the one that was at "Third Watch" and "The Wanda Sykes Show") is writing it.
