Only in the wacky world of cable TV would a series that's been on two summers be renewed for a "second season," but that's what A New Kind of Family calls their renewal of the Melissa Joan Hart/Joey Lawrence multi-cam sitcom, which with its new Wednesday night stablemate "State of Georgia" with "That's So" Raven-Symone is an ABCFAM sitcom template of new shows with old kiddie sitcom stars (like TVL's new shows with old sitcom stars):
