Working as an intern at CNBC, I was very excited to meet Florence Henderson (a.k.a. Mrs. Brady). Honestly, it was one very few instances when I was tongue-tied upon meeting someone I'd seen on TV since I was a toddler. After, I was sitting in the office coming down off of my Brady buzz and an elderly guy sort of wandered in. I basically blew him off, paying him little attention. It turned out it was Sherwood Schwartz, the man behind so many of my childhood icons. Had I known, I probably would have been doubly tongue-tied. I felt like an ass for ignoring him. I think if you ask those who knew me from that point on in Hollywood, I was respectful to everyone I met in the industry, regardless of fame or whether I knew them (well, except for Jeff Kopp, but he was just a blow hard). in a sense Sherwood Schwartz helped me out, because by being respectful I made a lot of connections with people others paid no attention to, and they employed me for several years. So thanks Mr. Schwartz. And thanks for Ginger and MaryAnne, too. -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
