In an unlikely partnership, the squeaky clean, Bible-verse product selling ten-ton gorilla of discount stores will be selling a "limited edition" shipment of Cartman's favorite treat Cheesy Poofs as part of Comedy Central's 15th anniversary celebration of "South Park":
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/15/business/media/campaign-marks-15th-season-of-south-park.html It's interesting, considering that COM has done everything possible in the past to keep licensed "South Park" products away from where kids might congregate (and I would assume that Cheesy Poofs will be sold near the checkout counters where the little nimrods can beg for them). It also seems to me that the hoo-hah about "South Park" being a Republican show will start up again, since right-wing talk radio and FNC tend to sanctify Walmart whenever possible. -- TV or Not TV ....
