When the Borders by my apartment liquidated, they brought in a ton of stuff
from other places (mostly toys and games) and sold them with the books. On
the final day, books in the store were either $1, $3 or $5. A bunch of the
Queens flea market vendors just bought everything they could put in their
vans with the idea that they'd sell them at the fleas for a few bucks more.

I miss the local Borders - so few clean restrooms in New York when you're
walking around and nature calls.
