Although James Murdoch has been involved in the whole cell phone hacking affair that cost News Corp. its acquisition of the portion of the UK's dominant non-terrestrial TV provider that it doesn't already own, he has supposedly gained the support of the leading independent board member on the company's board and is expected to remain BSkyB's chair, according to the Guardian:
