After admitting that he was running Season 1 by the seat of his pants,
film director Frank Darabount has stepped down as showrunner of AMC's
"The Walking Dead" and number 2 man (and vet TV showrunner) Frank
Mazzera ("The Shield, "HawthoRNe") has taken over:

Mark Rosenthal, responsible for taking Current TV out of the hard-to-
sell "pods" and into regular-length programming (and the hiring of
Keith Olbermann and the further intended remaking into a lefty news
channel), is leaving as CEO after two years--cut-rate law firm man
Joel Hyatt, the less-celebrated founder of the channel (after the
former Vice President and punching bag for the right), is taking over:

Al Jazeera English has finally landed placement on New York cable--by
a rental of a digital side channel of suburban NY's WRNN similar to
the deal with indie VA pubcaster MhZ Networks that has them on the air
in Washington:

And geeks who aren't happy that "Chuck" is entering its last season
with only 13 eps will be happy with the announced guest stars: Mark
"Luke Skywalker" Hamill and Carrie-Anne "Trinity from 'The Matrix'"
Moss:

And oh yes, another "Chuck" guest star will be Craig Kilbourn. By no
one's demand except his.
