A distinguished group of NY professional dancers watched a performance
night of "So You Think You Can Dance" for the NY Times and despite
their many criticisms of the show, to a person admitted that they
would make guest appearances to promote the cause of dance on
television:

The heading, for those who don't know, is my appropriation of Cat
Deeley and the audience's ritual introduction of the judges every
night, built upon the accusation that Our Cat pronounces "judges" as
"jidges" (although I've never noticed it--I've always noted that she
takes great pains to pronounce "dance" American-style, not British-
style).
