A friend in the UK knows I'm always on the hunt for ways to make math
more interesting as a teacher, so he shared the BBC documentary series
"The Code" with me. Having watched the first part of the three part
series, I'm not sure he really was a friend. It is a part of the "open
university" series, yet it is complete and utter nonsense. Note to the
BBC: Simply adding melodramatic music and shadowy closeups of a man
walking around does NOT make something mysterious. Math is a weakness
of mine, but even I could tell the host was completely full of sh*t.

If you are British, complain to the BBC. Your tax dollars funded a
festering turd... and a three part festering turd at that.
