OK, not really. The show is about the "eccentric wealthy people who live in his building", because what America loves are shows about rich people set in New York.
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/trump_towering_tv_stage_NlsKt9csfSjWg9fc9Nk8pI The article goes on to note several people who lived in Trump Tower who will not be in the show (for reals or for fakes), though a cool sci-fi premise could be built around Steven Spielberg, [arms dealer] Adnan Khashoggi, Sophia Loren, Johnny Carson, Michael Jackson, and Martina Navratilova being stranded together on a mystical island, maybe battling dinosaurs or aliens. Maybe while searching for a birth certificate that proves that a certain politician is really a Soviet spy as well. It ends with a quote from a Trump spokesman, and the article is especially notable for not hewing to the false need for balance by quoting anyone to say "Yeah, we're just humoring the rich bastard. We have no intention of producing this show, when we *already* greenlit *The Playboy Club*." But if the show was about that ferret on his head, it'd already have a midseason slot! -- Wesley McGee http://www.ambivi.com http://drawing-a-blank.tumblr.com -- TV or Not TV ....
