After rumors that they wanted to take G4 off of NBCUKabletown's hands, the mixed martial arts promotion instead has signed with Fox Sports for a contract that although it is mostly for FX (32 weekly telecasts and the reality show "The Ultimate Fighter," which was on Spike), does include four prime time slots on the mainline Fox network--however, UFC will still produce the telecasts themselves with their own overwrought announcers, with Fox only producing pre- and post-bout coverage:

Meanwhile, FX has its first reality series since Morgan Spurlock's "30 Days," and you could also wonder how the programming people at FX who seem to have made a great effort to avoid reality programming feel about "Ultimate Fighter" being foisted on them. -- TV or Not TV ....
