The rule that had not been enforced since 1987 was taken off the books along with over 80 other "obsolete" rules, taking a long-standing fund- raising boogey man away from the right and hopes from some on the left that the rule would be enforced again and used to send FNC and right- wing talk radio into submission (never mind that the FCC has always not touched cable programming):

I don't know, but it seems to me that the manipulated teabaggers (or at least the ones who comment on the Internet) truly believe that the only good liberal is a dead liberal (I'm not talking about the Republican party, right-wing talk radio or Fox News, since they know when not to step over the line and start threatening death). I'm afraid that we won't get a lone Lee Harvey Oswald or Timothy McVeigh in the future, but a militia trying to infiltrate the White House, a Democratic National Convention or an Oscars ceremony (or any other entertainment industry function) with guns blazing. In fact, I'm a little afraid that President Obama AND Vice President Biden will be killed before their term is over so that the teabaggers can try to get John Boehner into the White House.
