The one-camera Christian Slater sitcom got an "Idol" lead-in and gathered a cult following, but didn't hold on to "Idol"'s numbers last spring (of course, said cult following doesn't watch "Idol") and got cancelled (shades of "Arrested Development?") and had already been turned down for mid-season, but Fox has changed its mind and given it a 13-ep renewal, with a pilot from creator Adam Goldberg, Sony and Happy Madison Productions (yep, Adam Sandler's company) attached to it, according to Nellie at Deadline:
