The first episode of the new UK series premiered on BBCA this past Monday.  And
since there's an electric car being tested in this series (already aired in the
UK, not yet in the U.S.), the boys did their best to make it look bad.

I will say that the Big Star, Small Car segments of TG:USA have not emerged as
a promo vehicle for other History Channel shows, as I feared.  While the films
this series have been quite good, they have pushed out most of the other
segments of the program.  But I've enjoyed the films well enough not to care.

Subject: [TV orNotTV] Top Gear update...

The newest UK series is pending on BBC America -- features the
original trio at their best.

This week's episode of TG: America is among its best ever. The guys
seem to have finally meshed, and though I miss "Jessica" opening the
show, giving the guys unofficial designations seems to have firmed up
their differences. The vehicles they chose for the luxury car
challenge are actually more fun and interesting than the ones the UK
guys chose in their incarnation of this episode.

Last but not least, as the Top Gear website announced, "Top Gear:
Korea" has premiered, and I kind of wish I spoke Korean.
