I am waiting for a cable operator (and not a big one) to simply call ESPN/Disney's bluff and say, "We're moving everyhing , and we're prepared to drop the entire ESPN family if you don't go along" and see what the reaction is. As much as I'm a sports fan, I think national sports (with the obvious exception of the NFL) is spectacularly overrated when it comes to general appeal. If I owned a cable company, I'd be closely studying how my customers would feel (especially if it led to a drop of prices, even if it was only two or three dollars). -- TV or Not TV ....
