I got more of an '"Earth 2" in "Jurassic Park"' vibe but it certainly
offered plenty of intriguing details. The presence of Brannon Braga is
a huge problem for me but I'm hopeful some other series will come
along to distract him so that "Terra Nova" may thrive. (Hey, "24" kept
him from screwing up "FlashForward" too much so it's possible.)

Since the skies were so polluted that the Moon was not even visible in
2149, how could the Moon be shockingly visibly larger 85 million years
ago? The fact that it was about 250 miles closer (on average) to the
Earth that far in the past wouldn't make it seem larger. (Imagine you
and a friend are on opposing goal lines at a football stadium. If your
friend moves 4 inches closer to you they will not suddenly loom
noticeably larger on the horizon.)
