It's just something I wondered about, seeing as SNF has been a
reliable winner for NBC each week. Since the world series isn't
featuring teams from markets FOX would like to see and the NFL game
wasn't the least bit compelling, I wanted to see which one got more
viewers.

Total viewers was 14.5 million viewers for FOX vs 9.6 million for NBC.
In the demo (18-49) FOX had 4.4/11 and NBC had 3.8/10.

Perhaps it didn't hurt Fox that the lead-in to Game 4 -- St Louis at Texas -- was (amongst other regional NFL coverage) St Louis at Dallas.

With the stadia a 20-minute walk apart, hopefully tacticians were on hand to get 50,000 baseball fans in before 80,000 football fans left.
