The main factor has tempered my annoyance with young Buck over the years is the whole father-son baseball dynamic he has going with his Dad; I am corney enough about baseball and its many textures that I have a soft spot in my heart for that. Now, that was a particularly spectacular game last night, so he would have had to do something really bad to not be good, but I thought the way he did it was just right - and credit to his partner for not stepping on the moment. Credit too to both of them, who set the whole thing up earlier in the game, when they were talking about World Series that ended in game 6 home runs, and McGarver gave a nice foreshadowing of Jack's call. Goosebumps all around at my house (doesn't hurt that we are rooting for the NL). -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
