The suggestion being made in this article is that Sony hasn't realized
that TVs have become a commodity focused on price rather than quality,
and the sooner the company realizes this, the better the company will
be.

I can't say I disagree with the thinking, but having grown up knowing
that Sony was *the* brand for televisions, I also completely get why
the company is pushing on this angle.
