So, no EAS-test stories? My cabler, Service Electric, started theirs 15 minutes early, according to a tech I called about a (possibly-related) problem in which our box was on multiple occasions randomly turned on (one during the night!), but failed to tune to whatever channel it had been on...
Then, many of the channels interrupted their audio and ran a graphics crawl every few minutes for *hours on end*, saying to tune to the local weather channel (the WFMZ side-channel with forecasts every 15 minutes) for news of a Special Weather Statement (the real forecast called for mostly clear skies and temp in the mid-to-low 40s).
