If only the police would be ordered not to arrest protestors exercising their first amendment rights to speech and assembly, then we might actually see progress. Looks like OccupyLA is poised to fall soon. Fortunately downtown LA is used to injustice and cops in riot gear. I was hoping police would arrest the Black Friday shoppers who were illegally camping on private property. Many of them were sharing food in violation of several heath codes. And there were issues of safety -- literally -- there were riots. But no, they can stay as long as they give monetary offerings to the corporate gods. 'Tis the season to be ironic. -- Kevin M.
