One of my other favorite channels in the late night hours used to be CNN Headline News. I remember an anchor named Gordon Graham who used to work the graveyard shift. He couldn't read a promptor to save his life and it always resulted in comedy. But again it was one locked down camera, a tech director, a sound tech, and a b-roll operator. The used footage and facilities created for other shows. The total cost to the network couldn't have been more than two or three thousand dollars a day (on top of whatever it would cost to rerun programing or feed from elsewhere). -- Kevin M.
