Brian Frons is leaving ABC after almost 10 years as daytime
programming chief, where his legacy will remain the cancellation of
"All My Children" and "One Life to Live"--ABC Daytime is being
reorganized under the Times Square Studios name (referring to the home
of "GMA" and "Nightline"), with prime time series chief Vicki Drummer
coming on board to run things in addition to her prime time duties and
reporting to prime time chief Paul Lee instead of directly to Disney/
ABC TV president Anne Sweeney:

And there's already one comment cheering the replacement of an "Edna
Rutledge," which sure like a first name of a member of the 18-49 women
target audience. I hope Grandma Edna doesn't think that "AMC" and
"OLTL" are going to be saved under the new management.
