When I signed up with my ISP in Glendale, I was told by them to expect
a call from their partner security business. I told them thanks but no
thanks, but they very quickly responded I had no opt-out method...
they WOULD call. And they did... no less than five times. Some of my
students will recall the "conversation" I had with them during one of
my classes a few months back, wherein I suggested the folks who run
the security company have inappropriate relationships with their
mothers, among other things. They have not called since.
